This was written about a sweet little girl who was handicapped.
After I wrote it, I gave a copy to her mother. When she finished
reading it, she wept and said "God Bless You." The next day she
told me that she had framed it and it hangs in her living room.
As my bus comes around the winding road
I see her waiting there
I go around back and drop the lift
To get her and the chair
"Good morning Miss G" I greet her
And she smiles from ear to ear
As we back her up upon the lift
She never sheds a tear
I lock the chair and buckle her in
As Mom puts a kiss on her head
The lift goes up and fades from sight
Mom waves "I love you" nothing more to be said
As she rides to school and sees the sights
She laughs her special way
God sent this little angel
To a person who will love her every day
