"Rest In Peace"

This page is dedicated to my Mom, Antoinetta who
was taken away from us five days before Christmas. She is very much
loved and sadly missed. Through her extreme pain with various medical
problems, she always had time to comfort and advise me whenever
she thought it necessary. For that I am truely greatful.
She is always in my heart and mind.

For My Mom

'Tis the season to be jolly
But sadness is my only folly
Since you've been taken away
Tears are all I see all day

You taught me so much in the story of life
But all you got in yours was strife
You never complained or shed a tear
When things got rough you were always near

I love you Mom so very much
One thing I'll miss is your gentle touch
That spoken word to let me know
You were proud of me and walked with a glow

Now that you've gone to be with Dad
My heart is very heavy and sad
I'm hoping that you'll be together
Maybe now your life can be much better

The above was published by The International Library of Poetry in a book entitled
'America At The Millennium' copyright 2000.

The background music is a classical piece by L.von Beethoven entitled 'Fur Elise'.
It was my Moms favorite when I studied piano in my earlier years.
